It produced espresso shots with well-balanced, rich flavors, and there was no bitterness or ashiness.

The only negatives we found with this machine was that it took longer to heat up compared to other models and that the water tank isn't marked for ounces or cups. The coffee that was brewed by the machine was excellent and had a great flavor and texture. It's also quiet, even when running the grinder and making coffee. This is the quietest super-automatic machine we've ever tested. A real boon for those who live in apartments. You can also pour your coffee directly into a cup to go with the machine's to-go function which can be very helpful on those mornings when you are rushed.
